County Caseworker 1
Blair Co. Children, Youth & Families has full time vacancies for County Caseworker 1, for both, daylight and after-hour shifts. Caseworkers conduct investigations, provide, refer and monitor services for families experiencing abuse/neglect in Blair County. Applicants must possess the following: a strength-based approach to helping families; excellent time management, organizational, caseload management, oral/written interviewing and computer skills. Must possess a valid driver's license. Travel out of county required for training and casework purposes. Periodic on-call duty is required (after hours), applicants must be able to physically respond to Blair County locations within 30 minutes while on-call. Requirements: A Bachelor's degree which includes or is supplemented by successful completion of 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences. College seniors within 3 months of graduation may apply. Child Abuse, State Criminal History and FBI Clearances are required.
